With a history of 3,000 years, the Guqin is a treasure of Chinese traditional music culture, and it inherits the artistic aesthetic and cultural connotation of Chinese music. As the last part of “Mid-autumn Festival: A Moonmoment to Remember”, we share with you this concert “The traditional Chinese music concert Mountain, River and Moonlight”. The concert boasts variety of content and forms, including traditional classical repertoire and modern original works. Integrating guqin, Kunqu opera, tai chi, xiao (a vertical bamboo flute), horse-headed fiddle, cello and vocal performances, it embodies the inclusive spirit of contemporary China.
