Missing Persons - "Destination Unknown" (Magnums Mix) - A Myleslandia Video Mix by Myles Matisse!

"After watching Dale Bozzio be interviewed by Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins on his brilliant YouTube channel show "The Magnificent Others with..." https://youtu.be/ESYtMbCUhxY?si=zaS5M0ECDfnblBXB , I was inspired to created a "Myleslandia Video Mix" of Missing Persons' incredible song, "Destination Unknown". I sought out an extended version and found an unofficial one with "Magnums Extended Mix". I was really surprised an official extended version wasn't made back in the day since 12" records were big in the 80s.

I found the best quality original music video I could find but since the beginning had words on the screen, I used a lesser quality one to begin my video mix because I didn't want to lose the footage. Rather than just using the music video to create an extended edit, I found two really cool European TV performances from back in the day that showcased ALL 5 members: Terry, Dale, Warren, Chuck and Patrick and worked my magic, editing all three video sources together into one cohesive video mix. It turned out great.

I wish the original 5 members of Missing Persons had stayed together and rode the rollercoaster of the music business, releasing many more albums with Warren, Terry, Patrick and Chuck, becoming like a U2 or Pet Shop Boys in longevity and product. Missing Persons is a band that should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and deserve more recognition than they get these days. Hopefully, my video mix creation will help in that department.
