Track 3 from his second solo album “Blow By Blow” released in 1975 copyright Epic Records. His most successful, it reached number 4 on the Billboard album charts and achieved Platinum status in 1986. One of the greatest and most respected guitarists ever, he’s influenced by the great jazz players, but has a style and technique all his own. He again teamed with keyboardist Max Middleton, and chose Sir George Martin to produce. Stevie Wonder contributed two songs and played clavinet on “Thelonius.” Beck dedicated Wonder’s “Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers” to fellow guitar virtuoso Roy Buchanan. Recorded from the original vinyl.
